The Opportunity
An estimated 25 million people will be attending Expo 2020 in Dubai. With 200 globally hosted pavilions, attendees will meet people from all over the world but might miss the opportunity to connect with local Emirates or experience their culture.
The Solution
As an independent contractor for Trove Tourism Development Advisors, Olivia and the team strategically developed a content strategy to increase awareness and engagement through new website content, social media posts, videos, flyers and media placements. For all content, we also created consistent messaging across channels focused on the audiences’ needs and desires. Content highlighted why Expo 2020 attendees should experience Emirati culture and what tours and programs were conveniently available.
The Results
Through client feedback and alignment, we developed more than 20 unique pieces of content for SMCCU to integrate into their marketing plan from October 2021 through March 2022. The content was designed to create a lasting impact by building awareness of the center and increasing visitor consideration of Emirati cultural experiences.
